Are you interested in having Pets on Wheels therapy teams visit regularly, or for a special event? Here’s how to make that happen.
If you are having a special event – a Wellness Day, Campus Gathering, Conference – you will need to fill out our Special Event Request Form. If you want regular therapy pet visits at your site throughout the year, fill out the Facility Registration Form and the Facility Coordinator Registration. To Learn more visit:
Request Regular Ongoing Visits
If you are interested in regular visits to your facility, please register your facility here. Pets on Wheels teams visit nursing homes, assisted living facilities, independent senior living facilities, hospitals, hospices, schools, libraries, shelters, businesses and more – anywhere that we can help lick loneliness, enhance memory and learning, bring comfort and brighten a day we’re happy to visit.
Once you have registered your facility, you will need to register a facility coordinator. The facility coordinator will be the primary contact at your facility for our volunteers. It is very important that this information is kept current, especially if your designated facility coordinator leaves your employment or changes responsibilities within your facility.
Please note that all Pets on Wheels staff are part-time or volunteers; we will do our very best to respond to all requests as soon as we can, and your patience and understanding are appreciated.

Request a Visit for a One-Time Special Event
If you are looking for therapy pet teams to visit for a one-time special event, click on the “Request an Event” button below. One of our area coordinators will respond to let you know if teams are available. So that our volunteers have adequate time to schedule, your request needs to be submitted 30 days in advance of your event.
If you are requesting pet visits for bereavement or crisis intervention and support, please email us directly at info@petsonwheels.org as those are special exceptions. Please note that all Pets on Wheels staff are part-time or volunteers; we will do our very best to respond to all requests as soon as we can, and your patience and understanding are appreciated.
In order to help defray expenses associated with events, we do request a donation to support our work. A minimum donation of $50 is requested for schools, clubs and nonprofits; minimum suggested donations for corporate events, health fairs or larger requests are higher – please request information. We are happy to provide documentation and written requests for donations – just let us know – or you may donate by check, PayPal or Venmo. Just please be sure to indicate which event your donation is supporting.
