Jackson and Chloe Holliday Step Up to Support Pet Therapy
Pets on Wheels is proud to announce an exciting new partnership that will bring even more comfort and connection to people in Maryland.
Baltimore Orioles infielder Jackson Holliday and his wife, Chloe, have pledged to donate $500 for every Orioles home run to support pet therapy services, in partnership with MedStar Health.
Pets on Wheels is the organization that runs MedStar Health’s pet therapy program, coordinating volunteer teams and certified therapy animals who visit patients, families and care teams throughout the hospital system. This generous commitment directly supports and expands that work — helping us reach more people with the proven benefits of pet therapy.
The announcement, held at MedStar Health, drew media attention and highlighted the meaningful impact of these visits. Viewers may even recognize some familiar faces — Program Director Cathy Mazzotta appears in the coverage alongside our dedicated volunteer pet therapy teams who make this program possible.
Adding a personal touch to the event, the Hollidays’ dog, Coconut, was officially named an honorary therapy pet.
Pets on Wheels is deeply grateful to Jackson and Chloe for not only their generosity, but for their genuine belief in the power of pet therapy to comfort, uplift and connect.
